Breakfast is fun, the staff (Ron, Reo, cooks, servers) smiling, talking, even anticipating what one may need. I have a sensitive stomach and despite travelling from > 6 times zone, had no digestion challenges. Food is healthy, tasty and digested great. The exercise room is open most hours of the day or night. Roof top pool is perfect cool down for midday. Sauna in the pool changing room (if the heat of Dubai is not enough). Hotel desk staff are exceptional (Mill, Essam, Jam, too many to name here). No problems with security as Alfred, Yonas, Michael, Kalifa and others too many to mention, all have the patient, calm empathetic personalities to solve things if and before 'escalations' develop. Engineering is prompt and effective (they fixed my WiFi problem in minutes). Housekeeping is fast and high quality. How do I know the names of so many hotel staff? Because of their exceptional friendliness and service. They create a feeling for guests of visiting relatives. Sure, this building is old, but that gives it charm. And it is less than a 10-minute cab ride to DXB. A walk along the creek is less than 5 minutes away. Gold souk and old town are an easy access by bike (yes in winter months, Dubai is great for biking), bus, Metro or taxi.

The hotel is pleasant, the facility can use an update. The best thing about the hotel is the staff and location. The staff are really welcoming and I would like to thank Imran for always taking great care of the room always making it to my liking. Imran responded quickly to all my requests. The hotel also has a lively night club.

I was book the room throw booking.com price around 90AED, because whole day I was busy and i go in the night for check in, when I arrived in the Hotel Reception they tell me we canceled your room because you not inform us. In my understanding If I not inform them this was their duty to reconfirm from me on cell number or Email are you coming or not, And in midnight I was no where. Then I book suite room in 1000AED in same property. So I was really disappointed from their policy.

I was denied checking in the property despite the confined reservation, the front line staff didnt allow me to connect with the duty manager despite many requests,they behaved very rudely and I had to run around other nearby places to find a room for stay one of the worst experience in my life ever
